A while ago, our classmates invited us to a birthday party. They invited two other Spanish girls and me. A month in advance, they asked us if we wanted to go and if we had that day off. After a while, they gave us personalized invitations with the dress code and other necessary information. Today was the party, and it was really cool and very different from the parties in Spain. When we arrived, like in all the houses here, we had to take off our shoes and put the gifts on a table. The party was in a house that was incredibly well decorated according to the theme: a New York disco party. There was also a bar with all kinds of savory food to dine on, and another bar with sweets and drinks. They explained to us that the house was divided into different stations: a dance area, a photocall, several Polaroid cameras and an album to display photos and create party memories, tons of sunglasses and things to decorate them, and a few other things. There were also some games like Beer Pong. It was super fun and the people were also super friendly, and they also played music in Spanish.
