March 6th

We had a ten-day vacation. I went to Italy with my family and two other families who are friends. They told me they took this vacation every year, they call it a ski vacation. We went every morning and afternoon to ski in the Italian Alps. I didn't know how to ski, since I'd never done it before and I was a little scared, but I went to classes the first five days and learned a lot. According to my host father, I'm now a professional skier. We ate every day at different restaurants in the mountains where we skied. Italian food is wonderful. The truth is that the ski resort and everything had nothing to do with those in Spain. It was all incredible, with amazing views. I was fascinated. There were some Spanish people in the ski classes, too, so it was a lot of fun. After skiing, every afternoon we would go to the hotel pools and spa to relax. As I said before, we went with two families, and they had children my age, so I also made new friends. One of the families was from Latin America, so I was also able to speak Spanish with them. 
Now when I return to Spain, I'll want to go skiing every year. I loved it. It was a great vacation.

January 12th

Today we got up at 8, first we went to the riding school to feed and prepare the German family's horse for a competition. Then we took the car and drove for two hours to some incredible swimming pools. I went with Lara's whole family and it was a lot of fun. It was a very big place and everything is very nice and clean, quite different from Spain. After changing we went to see all the facilities, there were olympic pools, outdoor pools (from which there were beautiful views since it was snowing ), water slides... all with heated water. We also ate there in a restaurant, that was very nice. We returned home at six, so we could have dinner at home at 7.30pm. It was a good day.

January 11th

Today was the first day of this incredible experience. We had a morning flight, which was delayed forty minutes, but despite that everything was correct and we didn't have any problems. When we landed we went to get our luggage and then both families were waiting for us. Lara and her father greeted me and were very nice. They took me out to eat something and then we went home. At home her little sisters were waiting for me excitedly. They showed me the house and my room. I put all my things away and then we started to prepare everything for dinner. Some family friends came over, we all cooked sushi together and then we had dinner, then we also played board games and the Wii . It was a great first day, I had a great time and lots of fun with everyone.

February 22th

A while ago, our classmates invited us to a birthday party. They invited two other Spanish girls and me. A month in advance, they asked us if we wanted to go and if we had that day off. After a while, they gave us personalized invitations with the dress code and other necessary information. Today was the party, and it was really cool and very different from the parties in Spain. When we arrived, like in all the houses here, we had to take off our shoes and put the gifts on a table. The party was in a house that was incredibly well decorated according to the theme: a New York disco party. There was also a bar with all kinds of savory food to dine on, and another bar with sweets and drinks. They explained to us that the house was divided into different stations: a dance area, a photocall, several Polaroid cameras and an album to display photos and create party memories, tons of sunglasses and things to decorate them, and a few other things.
